TEKNOFEST Opens Its Doors from September 17–21!
The world’s largest Aerospace and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST, is opening its doors for the 12th time this year!
Taking place in Istanbul between September 17–21, the festival will be held at Atatürk Airport under the leadership of the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology. Having inspired nearly 11 million visitors to date, TEKNOFEST will once again bring a wave of technology and innovation to the unique atmosphere of Istanbul, the cradle of civilizations.
Bringing together young people from around the world who are guided by science and technology and are shaping the technologies of the future, TEKNOFEST is set to make a global impact again this year with its spirit of innovation and new records. After its first stop of 2025 in the sister country Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the second stop of this year's TEKNOFEST will be Istanbul. The event will host many exciting activities, from innovation-packed competitions to breathtaking air shows, all held at Atatürk Airport from September 17–21.
Standing out each year with its newly updated competition categories, TEKNOFEST Istanbul will feature 54 main competitions and 127 subcategories. Teams that pass the preliminary round will benefit from over 85 million TL in financial support, while prize money exceeding 65 million TL will be awarded to the top-ranking teams. In addition, the extensive material support provided to competitors will help elevate their projects further. Participants from across the globe will exchange knowledge and experience, taking significant steps in the journey of technological advancement.
Furthermore, in addition to the competitions, TEKNOFEST Istanbul, taking place at Atatürk Airport from September 17–21, will offer a wide range of impressive activities for its visitors. The festival will feature aerial shows, various exhibitions and workshops, simulated experience zones, a planetarium, expo events, and special flight experiences for students, all filled with technology and excitement.
