Science Communication Volunteer Program Applications Have Started!
Would you like to volunteer at Bilim Türkiye centers, where science and technology are brought together with children and young people?
Applications are now open for the Science Communication Volunteer Program, which is looking for volunteers to serve at science centers operating under the Bilim Türkiye Project, carried out by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation).
At Bilim Türkiye centers, thematic workshops are organized for children aged 6–14 in seven different fields. In addition, the centers offer hands-on and interactive science experiences to visitors through their exhibition areas and planetariums.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants who would like to take part in workshop activities, exhibitions, and planetarium programs at our centers, including:
- Undergraduate students, graduate students, or graduates from departments related to the workshop subject areas,
- Students and graduates of all departments within faculties of education,
- Individuals who are interested in science, technology, and education, enjoy working with children, and would like to take an active role in volunteer activities.
Program Duration
- The program will run throughout the designated program period.
- Volunteers are expected to participate at least two days per week.
- Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Volunteer Responsibilities
As part of the program, volunteers are expected to:
- Assist instructors during workshop sessions,
- Contribute to curriculum and lesson plan development,
- Support communication and engagement with visitors, students, and parents,
- Assist with exhibition and planetarium activities, where available at their assigned center,
- Help promote science and technology awareness within the community.
