As the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, we continue to spread science and technology all over Turkey with the goal of a Turkey that develops technology.
n the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bilim Lefkoşa was opened with the participation of Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation. Bilim Lefkoşa, which includes mathematics, technology, astronomy and aviation, design, agriculture, natural sciences, entrepreneurship workshop and Deneyap Technology Workshops, will bring children between the ages of 6-14 together with science and technology.
Within the scope of the National Technology Initiative, Bilim Nicosia was realized with the partnership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, TRNC Ministry of National Education, Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Lefkoşa, KEI Office of THE Republic of Türkiye in Lefkoşa, T3 Foundation, Cyprus Science and Intelligence Foundation and ITU TRNC University in order to bring science, technology and art to the masses and to increase our children's communication with science and their interest in these fields. TRNC President Ersin Tatar, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye Osman Aşkın Bak, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation Selçuk Bayraktar, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu, President of KIBZEV Mustafa Tümer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T3 Foundation Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, children and guests attended the opening ceremony of the center. After the opening speeches, a science show event and a tour of the Bilim Lefkoşa Workshop were organized.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the center, TRNC President Ersin Tatar expressed his satisfaction with Türkiye's transfer of its achievements in the field of technology to Northern Cyprus and said, "No one can block the path of our young people, our young people are worthy of everything." Stating that new Aziz Sancars can be raised if the Turkish Cypriot people and youth, who are subjected to all kinds of injustice under the embargo, are given opportunities, Tatar said that the Turkish Cypriot people, who have managed to stand up despite great pressure and persecution, will also progress successfully in science and technology.
Reminding that more than 1 million competitors applied to TEKNOFEST in Türkiye this year, Selçuk Bayraktar expressed his belief that young people can change the world with technology and science and said, " Bilim Lefkoşa will provide young people with the opportunity to learn by having fun with mathematics, astronomy, space and aviation, design, agriculture, natural sciences, and entrepreneurship workshops. We also aim to organize TEKNOFEST in Northern Cyprus as soon as possible."
