Applications Open for the Science Türkiye Science Communication Volunteering Program!
Applications have opened for the Science Communication Volunteering Program at 17 science centers in 7 cities where Science Türkiye education programs are implemented.
At our centers, thematic workshops in 7 different fields are offered for children aged 6–14. In addition, visitors of all ages—from 7 to 70—can enjoy a scientific discovery experience through exhibition areas and planetariums.
📚 Who Can Apply?
Those who wish to take part in workshop, exhibition, and planetarium activities at our centers, including:
Undergraduate students, graduate students, or graduates
Students and graduates of all departments of faculties of education
⏳ Program Duration
📆 The program covers January, February, and March
⌛ Volunteers are expected to participate at least 2 days per week
🎓 Participation certificates will be awarded at the end of the program
Technology Workshop
Astronomy, Aviation, and Space Workshop
Mathematics Workshop
Natural Sciences Workshop
Design Workshop
Entrepreneurship Workshop
Agricultural Technologies Workshop
🧩 Expected Responsibilities Within the Program
Supporting instructors during workshop sessions
Contributing to curriculum and lesson planning activities
Communicating with visitors, students, and parents
Providing support as an exhibition guide or planetarium assistant, if available at the assigned center
Note: Not all workshops and activity areas may be available at every center.
